How these figures are worked out

Yearly pay is the hourly rate × 37.5 hours × 52 weeks (1,950 paid hours, including paid holiday). Take-home is after 2026/27 Income Tax and National Insurance for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with no pension or student loan. Each rate's page shows Scottish figures, part-time hours and the full working. For anything else, use the UK salary calculator.
